Goldie’s Getaway Triad’s Best
When I think of Southern treatment I remember my great Aunt that we used to visit in South Carolina. We absolutely loved driving down because we knew it would feel amazing. Cousins, food for days, and joy and laughter that can’t be matched. Gatherings outside by the fire, stories, and memories of a lifetime. When I walked into Goldie’s Getaway those warm feelings rushed back as if I’d taken a stroll down memory lane. Warm, inviting and absolutely BEAUTIFUL. Yes, Goldie’s place is definitely where you want to stay when you visit the Triad. More than just a place to lay your head, it’s a place to retreat and make amazing memories.
Retreat Vibes
The curb appeal is awesome as you approach this home on this quiet court. Goldie’s Getaway definitely stands out and invites you to stay for a while. Upon entering the home you are greeted with cool grays and crisp whites of the home and decorations that flow so well. Well furnished, but with plenty of space to make your stay comfortable and relaxing. The first level has a large great room with plenty of seating. It’s a great place to chill and enjoy a little tv.
The kitchen and dinette area provide an awesome place to cook up a few meals with new appliances and all of the utensils and tools needed. Need coffee in the morning, check, they’ve got that. I love the bench-style seating area with ample seating for a family. Not to mention the formal dining area with a nice window facing the front porch. All the feels for a nice Sunday or Thanksgiving dinner. I can almost taste the home-cooked meal now.
Love this space
The laundry room and half bath are there to serve too. Nothing like going home from a stay with fresh clothes. Out back, you DO NOT want to miss the 2 beautifully decorated sitting spaces. One is perfectly suited for a game of spades (or whatever you like to play) and the other surrounds an amazing fire pit to keep you cozy and warm on a cool evening. The super cool lights that highlight the space add a special touch. Get the sticks and prepare the s’mores people!
Beautiful Cozy Bedrooms
When you are done outside and ready to retire for the night you will find 3 awesome bedrooms upstairs, each with its unique feel. Relax in a chair and read a book before nodding off to sleep or catch your favorite show on the streaming-ready tv’s. I’m pretty sure you will want to sleep in once you get snuggled in.
Presence
Each of the bathrooms are awesome. They provide plenty of space to get so fresh and so clean! And can I point out the little details like the makeup towel and other amenities that give this Airbnb such an awesome presence. And let me tell you about the artwork and details throughout. It’s like a boutique hotel meets southern hospitality with a southern welcome vibe.

Listen, you may want to go ahead and reserve dates now at Goldie’s Getaway because I’ve seen many of the options in the area and haven’t found one that tops this. It is beautiful and located in High Point which provides easy access to Greensboro, Winston-Salem, and everything else the Triad has to offer. It’s all in the Name
I had to ask because I really love this Airbnb and the name “Goldie’s Getaway”. I wanted to know where the name came from and the owner, Carmicia told me that it’s named after her late Grandmother Goldie. Now it makes so much sense, just like the love I felt when I visited my Auntie in South Carolina. The love you feel when you walk into this home must be the love of Goldie (Rest in Heaven). What an amazing legacy and tribute for this beautiful Getaway.
