Wow. I know we’ve all watched movies and thought it could never REALLY happen, but here we are! Here we are in the midst of a global pandemic. Cities on lockdown, people panicked, sporting events canceled, schools shutdown. Who knew that we would start 2020 with a mandate to stay at home?!
In the midst of it all, we are yet hopeful. First of all, we trust in God and believe that ultimately he is in control. We will get through it all in spite of how it looks today.
The reality for our business is that we are temporarily shut down. Just like other photographers around the world. We are super mindful of the current situation and want to do our part by staying home. It’s super tough because our business is built on relationships and social distancing has definitely impacted our ability to network and continue building those relationships.
For us it’s about so much more than just taking pictures. We are about creating memories that will be passed from generation to generation. We are about helping others accomplish goals and succeeding in business. It’s about having a vested interest in our Seniors and playing a role in their growth and development. Needless to say, it’s a tough place for us all.
We truly look forward to the day when we are able to open up again and share our gifts with the world. In the meantime, we are working on continuing education (making sure we continue to grow). We also added a few new team members, Kennedy and (“Shadow” our Drone). Shadow is eager to get into the action to create amazing footage for our Real Estate professionals and many of our clients that desire aerial photography and video. We took this time to get official and completed our studying and passed the exam for our FAA Drone Pilot license. Kennedy is no stranger to the business, but she recently earned her first camera and is super eager to continue learning (she is pretty dope). We are also working on enhancing our skills and completing some creative personal projects. So we are staying busy, but can’t wait to get back to YOU!
Thanks to an awesome idea from @Carasoulia a photographer in MA for this idea to support our local community. I will be adhering to the local restrictions and practicing social distancing but meeting the families of my neighborhood as they sit on the front porch and taking a family portrait. What better time to take a picture with the ones we love the most?! I feel like we could all use a little something to lift our spirits. You can see more of the details HERE.
Many have reached out and asked how you can assist (Yes, it’s tough being an entrepreneur when everything is SHUT DOWN). Here are a few ways that you can help.
We’d love to hear from you about your experience. It helps us grow and prepare for even greater things ahead. It also helps as others are looking for photographers to hear of your experience. You can leave a review HERE
Purchase e-gift cards here for future use when we are able to shoot. They also make great gifts.
We are still booking sessions. To be safe, we are beginning in May. We’re ready to book your senior session (this has been a tough year for the class of 2020 and we want to make their senior portrait session one to remember), Personal Branding session or your portrait session. Start HERE and we’ll get the ball rolling.
Thank you for caring. We appreciate your concern regarding Images by Marc Anthony during the COVID-19 shutdown. Thank you for your support. We can’t wait to get back out and shart shooting again. You can donate via CashApp $ImagesbyMarcAnthony.
We are looking ahead with great anticipation for better days. In the meantime, stay safe. Be encouraged. Help others in need. Stay at home and we’ll see you on the other side of this, better and stronger than ever!
